Unwrap the Gift, it’s so easy!
It doesn't matter what you're doing or what you've done. The only way to receive this gift is to be sure that you know God. The only way that you can know God is by knowing Jesus. Jesus is the only way to God and the free gift of eternal life.
To accept Jesus into your heart you have to acknowledge that:
We are sinful. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
Be willing to repent and turn away from your sin. “For the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life.” Romans 6:23 Ask God to forgive you of your sin.
Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 Realize He died for you.
You must receive the GIFT of Christ as your Savior. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10: 8 & 9 Ask Him to forgive YOU of your sins, and come into your heart and save you.
So if you ask HIM, He will accept you. “ For whosoever (your name) shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 Ask HIM!
OPEN Your Gift, by opening YOUR heart!
We would encourage you to accept Christ by saying a simple prayer like this and believing it whole heartedly:
Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness.
I believe that you died upon the cross and shed your blood for my
sins. I repent from my sins and ask you to save me and change me.
I invite you into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank
you for saving me, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Receiving Christ into your heart is the greatest decision you could ever make. It is God’s gift to us, that we might be saved and spend eternity with Him in heaven. There is no life that can compare to a life lived for Christ. Living the Christian life after salvation is about continuing and building that relationship to God, but nothing can take away the gift God has given you. John 10:28; Eph. 4:30
